Inspired by a wide range of artists, Bon Wavi refuses to adhere to the title of "rapper", instead he prefers to be named as an artist. Having been influenced by artists spanning from Lil Wayne, to Bon Jovi, Bon Wavi says his goal is to "push the envelope" on what the youth, and his peers see as good music. Hailing from Portland, Oregon, Bon Wavi records himself in his own studio, and says every time he creates, whether it's a metaphor loaded rap track, or an energy packed rock song, he is raising the bar for himself. A goal he believes every artist should have for themselves as well. Bon Wavi believes that in reaching these goals, he will inspire other artists to do the same, so that the quality of the art will finally return to the spotlight in the music industry.
